About Us
Narmada Bio-Chem Limited is a fertilizer and speciality fertilizer manufacturer, supplier and importer in India, operating since 1996. We offer a comprehensive range of organic, bio, chemical, water-soluble and liquid fertilizers, along with organic manures, micronutrients, soil conditioners and other nutrient-management products designed to enhance crop productivity, improve soil fertility and support long-term soil health.
Our company was established with the aim of serving the farming community and supporting the nation. We commenced operations as a partnership firm, National Organic Fertilizers, focused on the manufacturing and sale of fertilizers. Today, we are a Public Limited company with a turnover of close to INR 500 crores, achieved within two decades of incorporation and supported by a diversified product portfolio.
To support this growth, we have developed strong manufacturing and quality control capabilities. We operate well-equipped laboratories for the quality control of both raw materials and finished products. Our operations include four technologically advanced manufacturing units with state-of-the-art machinery, ensuring high operational efficiency and a combined annual production capacity of approximately 4,25,000 MT, positioning us among the leading fertilizer manufacturers in India.
Supported by a strong network of over 2,000 dealers and 20,000 retailers across multiple countries, we deliver consistent, high-quality products in small, large and bulk volumes to a diverse customer base, both domestically and internationally. Our global presence enables us to understand regional market dynamics, regulatory requirements and customer needs, allowing us to offer relevant and effective solutions tailored to different markets.
To meet high demand and serve a wide customer base, we also import fertilizers. We have been appointed by the Government of India as an FME (Fertilizer Marketing Entity) for handling and marketing imported urea from JSW Jaigarh and Adani Dahej ports.
To date, we have sold over 1.5 million tonnes of imported fertilizers across India, establishing ourselves as one of the largest fertilizer importers in the country.

OUR COMPANY HISTORY
2025-26
Sold over 1.5 million tonnes of imported fertilisers across India
2025
Commenced commissioning of our largest manufacturing facility at Dahej, Gujarat with an annual capacity of 0.5 million MT for DAP, and NPK Complex Fertilizers.
2023-24
Expanded the imported fertilizer portfolio by adding P K fertilizers including DAP and MOP.
2020-21
Introduced an innovative Carrier-Based Granulated Biofertilizer and expanded across 16 states in India.
2019
Appointed by Government of India as an FME for handling and marketing of Imported Urea from JSW Jaigarh and Adani Dahej ports.
2018
Inaugurated our corporate office, Narmada House, in Ahmedabad.
2015
Became Narmada Bio-chem Limited, marking our transition to a public limited company.
2014
Added world-class Phosphate Rich Organic Manure (PROM), an effective substitute for DAP, to our organic portfolio.
2011-12
Added Manufacturing Unit No. 4 for SSP and Magnesium Sulphate and ventured into fertilizer trading with Imported Water-Soluble Fertilizers and Bentonite Sulphur.
2008
Established State-of-art Manufacturing Unit No. 3 in Kheda, Gujarat increasing production capacity fourfold.
2006
Established our 2nd manufacturing unit in Ahmedabad, doubling our production capacity.
2004
Expanded manufacturing capacity with a new production facility at Mahagujrat Industrial estate, Ahmedabad.
2001
Incorporated as Narmada Bio-chem Pvt. Ltd. after demerging from National Organic Fertilizers.
1997
Laid the foundation of our first manufacturing facility in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
1996
Established the partnership firm National Organic Fertilizers with our first Organic and Compost Fertilizers.
OUR PRODUCTS
Organic Fertilizer
Organic fertilizers are derived from naturally sourced organic materials and provide nutrients to crops while contributing organic matter to the soil. They are used to support soil fertility and crop nutrient management.
Organic Manure
Organic manure is primarily used to enrich the soil with organic matter and support soil structure and fertility. It contributes to the development of a favourable soil environment for agricultural production.
Bio Fertilizer
Bio fertilizers contain beneficial microorganisms that help improve the availability and utilization of nutrients by plants. They are formulated for applications such as seed treatment, soil application or application around plant roots, depending on the product.
Chemical Fertilizer
Chemical fertilizers are manufactured using mineral sources and nutrient compounds to supply essential plant nutrients. The portfolio includes fertilizers providing primary nutrients such as nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium in different formulations and grades.
Water-Soluble Fertilizer
Water-soluble fertilizers are formulated to dissolve readily in water, making them suitable for precise nutrient application through methods such as fertigation and, where appropriate, foliar application. They allow nutrients to be delivered in a readily soluble form according to crop requirements.
Bio-Liquid Fertilizer
Bio-liquid fertilizers are liquid formulations containing beneficial biological components. They combine the convenience of a liquid formulation with biological inputs intended to support nutrient management and plant development.
Micronutrients
Micronutrient fertilizers provide essential plant nutrients required in relatively small quantities, such as zinc, iron, boron, manganese and copper. They are used to address specific micronutrient requirements and support balanced plant nutrition.
Soil Conditioner
Soil conditioners are products used to improve specific physical or chemical properties of soil. Depending on their composition, they may help improve soil structure, moisture management or other soil characteristics relevant to crop cultivation.
