Beginning in 1996 with the first manufacturing unit in India, in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, we are now in the industry with 4 manufacturing units, providing farm solutions and advisory services Pan India. NBCL has been serving the farming community for over two and a half decades now. An impressive track record propels our strategy to lead in organic, bio and natural fertilizer inputs. This strategy is further supported by our innovative organic, bio and natural fertilizer solutions, enabling and encouraging farmers to adopt organic and natural farming practices. We offer among the best farm nutrients and associated products in India and overseas. We believe that when the soil is healthy, it gives higher yields, which in turn is beneficial for the farmers.

From the very beginning, we have considered the imperative role of research and development for quality products and services and have taken initiatives for strong in-house R & D facilities. GROWTH JOURNEY

2025-26

Sold over 1.5 million tonnes of imported fertilisers across India

2025

Commenced commissioning of our largest manufacturing facility at Dahej, Gujarat with an annual capacity of 0.5 million MT for DAP, and NPK Complex Fertilizers.

2023-24

Expanded the imported fertilizer portfolio by adding P K fertilizers including DAP and MOP.

2020-21

Introduced an innovative Carrier-Based Granulated Biofertilizer and expanded across 16 states in India.

2019

Appointed by Government of India as an FME for handling and marketing of Imported Urea from JSW Jaigarh and Adani Dahej ports.

2018

Inaugurated our corporate office, Narmada House, in Ahmedabad.

2015

Became Narmada Bio-chem Limited, marking our transition to a public limited company.

2014

Added world-class Phosphate Rich Organic Manure (PROM), an effective substitute for DAP, to our organic portfolio.

2011-12

Added Manufacturing Unit No. 4 for SSP and Magnesium Sulphate and ventured into fertilizer trading with Imported Water-Soluble Fertilizers and Bentonite Sulphur.

2008

Established State-of-art Manufacturing Unit No. 3 in Kheda, Gujarat increasing production capacity fourfold.

2006

Established our 2nd manufacturing unit in Ahmedabad, doubling our production capacity.

2004

Expanded manufacturing capacity with a new production facility at Mahagujrat Industrial estate, Ahmedabad.

2001

Incorporated as Narmada Bio-chem Pvt. Ltd. after demerging from National Organic Fertilizers.

1997

Laid the foundation of our first manufacturing facility in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

1996

Established the partnership firm National Organic Fertilizers with our first Organic and Compost Fertilizers.

INFRASTRUCTURE

Our company operates four technologically advanced manufacturing units that are equipped with state-of-the-art machinery. These facilities have a high level of efficiency and are capable of producing an impressive annual output of 4,25,000 MT. This level of production helps us to meet high-demand requirements or serve a large customer base. Overall, our well-equipped and technologically advanced manufacturing units provide a solid foundation for meeting production targets and catering to market demand. Apart from the manufacturing facilities we have well equipped laboratories for the quality control of raw materials as well finished goods.

MICROBIOLOGY LABORATORY

Our Microbiology lab is fully equipped with facilities for microbial testing, where following analysis are performed:

  • Quality control check of liquid/granular biofertilizes as per FCO, 1985 guidelines.
  • Shelf life testing of the biofertilizes
  • Isolation and screening of agriculturally important microbes
  • Feasibility study of the new formulations of biofertilizers

We have got a state-of-the-art chemical laboratory that's NABL accredited and is fully equipped with essential instruments. Our meticulous analysis adheres to the guidelines outlined in the FCO, 1985, covering the detailed examination of the following categories of fertilizers:
